The sizing for your radio strap is crucial to make sure it fits you right. There are a few ways to make sure you get the correct measurement. Your measurement for the strap is where the top of your radio bucker/holster sits at the hip, over the shoulder, and back down to the bucket at the hip.

The first is to use a cloth tailor's measuring tape and drape it over your shoulder then take the ends to the opposite side hip and adjust the tips until it sits where you would like the top of your radio bucket to sit.

The second way is to use a piece of rope or string and do the same thing, then simply mark it when you get it where you want it to sit and then place the rope or string flat on a table and use a regular measuring tape to measure the length.

If you have an existing strap the fits you well you can also measure the length of that strap by placing it flat on a table and measuring from the tip of one end to the tip of the other end.
